The invention relates to a device for indicating the actual speed of a vehicle, containing a signal-outputting unit and an indicating unit connected thereto. The indicating unit has a display unit comprised of light sources. The construction is characterized in that a central signal analyzing and converting unit (2) is mounted between the signal-outputting unit (1) and the indicating unit (3) and has a signal receiving input (2a) and an instruction-outputting output (2b). The signal-outputting unit (1) is connected to the signal receiving input (2a) of the central signal analyzing and converting unit (2), whereas the indicating unit (3) is connected to the instruction-outputting output (2b) of the central signal analyzing and converting unit (2). The signal-outputting unit (1) has a basic signal source (1a) that is suited for outputting a signal, which is produced by the rolling of the wheels (11) of the vehicle (10) and which is proportional to the speed. |
