The vacuum die casting assembly has a vessel (2) enclosed by a cover (1), containing a heater (3). The base of the vessel has an opening (4), on the side away from the cover, with a moving piston rod (5) through it towards the cover. A spacer (7) is within the vessel, between the piston rod and the cover. A sintering tool (8) in the vessel sinters two noble metal sections (9a-9d), with pressure applied on it by the piston rod. The sintering tool has a recess (9) to accommodate the spacer.
