<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a memory card is twisted or stuffed in a connector because eject force acts on only one edge of the card in many cases. <P>SOLUTION: A memory card connector includes an insulation housing 38 having a terminal-mounting base and a pair of side wall sections 38b, 38c extending forward from opposite sides of the base. A card eject mechanism 66 is mounted on the housing 38 and has a slide member 67 movable in a card insertion/ejection direction. A card ejector plate 48 spans over the side wall sections 38b, 38c of the housing 38. The ejector plate 48 is connected to the slide member 67 for movement therewith.
