<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare-earth-iron-nitrogen magnetic material which shows oxidation resistance and superior magnetic properties, and particularly has high saturation magnetization, and to provide a bond magnet using it. <P>SOLUTION: The rare-earth-iron-nitrogen magnet material to be used is expressed by general formula: R<SB>a</SB>Fe<SB>(100-a-b-c-d)</SB>Mn<SB>b</SB>M<SB>c</SB>N<SB>d</SB>(wherein, R is one or more elements selected among rare earth elements; M is one or more elements selected among the group consisting of Ni, Cu, Co, Cr and V; and a, b, c and d are atomic percentage while they must satisfy the following four requirements: 3≤a≤20, 0.01≤b<0.5, 0.01≤c≤25 and 17≤d≤25). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
