<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging vessel, which vents heat and steam emitted from a fried food or an everyday dish, prevents the intrusion of insects and/or dust, and enables a lid to be fitted firmly on a vessel body. <P>SOLUTION: The packaging vessel has a flange 11, on which vertical waves 11a rolling vertically are formed, and horizontal waves 11b rolling inward and outward relatively to the vessel are formed on the outer end face of the flange 11.
