PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly adjust the oil level of an automatic transmission. SOLUTION: An oil level adjusting method comprises a step (S120) of starting the oil level adjustment mode (S120) upon detection of short-circuit of a TC terminal (YES in S100) and detection of a special operation (S110), a step of starting the idling operation of an engine release of short-circuit of the TC terminal (YES in S130), a step (S150) of detecting the temperature of AT working fluid if the shift position is at the neutral position or the parking position (YES in S140), and a step (S170) of determining that the oil level is adjustable and lighting an indicator if the temperature of the AT working fluid is within a predetermined range (YES in S160).
