PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner allowing sterilization of a filter disposed on the downstream side of a blower commutator motor. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes a hose connection port 3 provided at the front end of a vacuum cleaner body 1 and connecting a connection hose, an exhaust port 7 provided at the vacuum cleaner body, the blower commutator motor 13 provided in the vacuum cleaner body, the filter 16 provided between the commutator motor and the exhaust port, a filter provided in an air passage between the commutator motor and the exhaust port and an ozone generator 17 provided in an air passage from the filter to the exhaust port and adjacent to the filter.
