PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize comparatively simple display for video accompanying audio. SOLUTION: In reproducing audio data having added character data displaying a character with a specified shape, the character data is analyzed to generate image data with a shape specified by the data. The image data is displayed in synchronism with the reproduction of the audio data. In addition, when motion data instructing the movement of the character with the shape specified by the character data is added to the audio data, the movement shown by the motion data is done in synchronism with the reproduction of the audio data.
