PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid applying method by which the dot spacing can be made to have a random distribution without forming high or low density dots of a liquid droplet locally when a colored liquid is discharged by using an ink-jet system and to provide an apparatus for applying the liquid, a curved body, a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a contact lens and the contact lens.

SOLUTION: The liquid in a discharge head 20 is formed into the liquid droplet and the formed liquid droplet is discharged from a nozzle and applied to the curved body CL having at least a curved surface by operating a liquid droplet discharging means arranged in the head 20. In this case the state of the liquid to be discharged from the nozzle is made to be a non-uniform state.
