<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidirectional input device having excellent assembly workability, enabling its cost and thickness to be reduced, and capable of providing an excellent operation feeling in any operation directions. <P>SOLUTION: This multidirectional input device is equipped with: a resistive element 7 annularly installed on an insulation base 3; a conductive pattern 9 arranged along and on the same surface with the resistive element 7 by keeping a predetermined space; a conductive member 15 installed by being separated from and faced to the resistive element 7 and the conductive pattern 9; an operation member 12 tiltably installed for partially bringing the conductive member 15 into contact with the resistive element 7 and the conductive pattern 9 by a tilting operation to electrically connect them to each other; voltage supply parts 7a and 7b for applying a predetermined voltage to the resistive element 7; and a voltage output part 9a connected to the conductive pattern 9.
