<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth pickup/separation with a separating feed part 7 by sufficiently securing a time for moving a thrust plate 8 to the separating feed part 7 while coping with needs for high speed printing of a plurality of paper sheets. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device 1 comprises an image forming part 5, the separating feed part 7 to be driven to feed stacked paper sheets 3 to the image forming part 5 while separating them one by one, the thrust plate 8 arranged on the opposite side to the separating feed part 7 across the stacked paper sheets 3, and a thrust plate drive part for driving the thrust plate 8 to the direction of approaching the separating feed part 7. A control part controls the thrust plate drive part to start the drive of the thrust plate 8 when the separating feed part 7 is in contact with the paper sheets 3 and the drive of the separating feed part 7 is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
