PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weft insertion-regulating device by which a load torque on a rotary output device is reduced. SOLUTION: A flat board-shaped movable body 22 is attached immovably to a rotor shaft 201 of a stepping motor 20. An arc-shaped guide edge 221 is formed at one part of the perimeter edge 220 of the flat board-shaped movable body 22. The guide edge 221 gradually parts from a rotor shaft 201 according to the counterclockwise rotation by centering the rotor shaft 201. A hooking part 222 is formed at a part of the perimeter edge 220 of the movable body 22.
