摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact optical system and a zoom lens having high optical performance by excellently correcting chromatic aberration. SOLUTION: The optical system has an optical member consisting of a medium whose dispersion is varied in an optical axis direction. The zoom lens has the optical member consisting of medium whose dispersion is varied in the optical axis direction in a lens group moving on an optical axis so as to perform variable power action.
