PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load cell type weight measuring device capable of performing highly accurate sensitivity calibration by using a weight lighter than a weighting capacity with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This device is constituted so that two load receivers 3, 4 are mounted on a strain element 11 of the load cell 1, and that the strain quantity on a sticking portion of a strain gage S of the strain element 11 when placing a load on one load receiver 3 is smaller than the strain quantity when placing the same load on the other load receiver 4. Hereby, the output of a Wheatstone bridge when placing a load near the weighting capacity on one load receiver 3 is acquired by placing a lighter load on the other load receiver 4, to thereby perform the sensitivity calibration with equal accuracy to the case where the sensitivity calibration is performed substantially with the load near the weighting capacity by using the lighter load.
