<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black coloring matter for inkjet ink having excellent light resistance, high solubility in ink solvents and excellent preservation stability. <P>SOLUTION: The black ink comprises a phthalocyanine compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein, A<SP>1</SP>to A<SP>16</SP>denote each independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a substituent through a carbon atom, a substituent through an oxygen atom, a substituent through a nitrogen atom or a substituent through a sulfur atom and the adjacent substituents may form a ring, with the proviso that at least one of A<SP>1</SP>to A<SP>16</SP>is a substituent through a nitrogen atom; and M denotes a bivalent metal atom, a trivalent or a tetravalent substituted metal atom or an oxymetal).
