PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key cylinder capable of preventing a luminous sheet from being scratched when a key is inserted into a key insertion hole when the luminous sheet is disposed to surround the key insertion hole. SOLUTION: In this key cylinder formed in such a manner that the key is inserted into the key insertion hole and rotated, the luminous sheet 33 having a permeability enabling the storage of light in a luminous layer 36 and having a protective layer 34 with a hardness of a specified value or higher is disposed on the front surface side of the luminous layer 36 with a light emitting function so as to surround at least a part of the key insertion hole.
