SEMICARBAZIDE HARDENER COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-borne coating material containing a semicarbazide hardener, having room temperature curability and storage stability and giving a coating film having excellent hardness and stain resistance. SOLUTION: The semicarbazide hardener has a [semicarbazide group (1) of formula (1)]/[semicarbazide group (2) of formula (2)] molar ratio of ≥10. The invention further provides a water-borne coating material containing the hardener and a composite material produced by coating a substrate with the water-borne coating material.
