PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thickness-determining structure and the method for antifriction components capable of checking the antifriction components, without conducting additional work as burner draw out work. SOLUTION: A imbedding metal tool is embedded in an antifriction component to the depth capable of deciding the abrasion quantity, and the thickness of the antifriction component for deciding abrasion is decided by the appearance degree of the progress of abrasion of the component on the surface. The embedding of the metal tool is done, in advance, to the depth of replacement reference and the like. By visually checking the presence of the exposure of the embedded metal through a checking opening, without withdrawing the antifriction component, checking of the antifriction component becomes possible.
