PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified tensile test apparatus for a projecting member on a ditch side, being used for checking whether the projecting member (test material to be tensioned) is installed in a desired strength condition, which is disposed so as to project to a lateral side of a ditch in order to prevent a cover (grating) set on the ditch, catch basin of the like of a road from flying or bouncing high when vehicles travel. SOLUTION: The tensile test apparatus is provided with a board frame 1 with a reversed T-shaped cross section; a rotatable arm member 2 which is supported so as to be rotatable by a standing support member 6 of the board frame 1; a pull-up arm 3 which is held in the vertical direction at the top section of the rotatable arm member 2; and an attachment 4 which is engaged to the test material to be tensioned H being detachably set at the top section of the pull-up arm 3.
