PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage valve having a plug of imperfect circle in which a sealing part of a plug and a valve seat part of a cage can be easily repaired. SOLUTION: The sectional shape of a valve body 1, a cage 7 having a flow control window 13 and a sliding part between the cage 7 and a valve plug 15 is formed substantially imperfect circle, and the sectional shape of a valve seat 14 of the cage 7 and a sealing part 19 of the valve plug 15 is formed circle. The longitudinal direction of the imperfect circular shape is substantially matched with the flow direction of the fluid in the valve element, and the flow control window 13 is opened in a circumferential wall of the cage 7 at the position different from the longitudinal direction.
