PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce excessive wet of tokens by quickly discharging surplus wash water. SOLUTION: This token cleaning/polishing device is provided with an upper side brush board 4 filled with brush bristles in its lower surface and a lower brush board 5 filled with brush bristles 5a in its upper surface with the respective brush bristles 4b and 5a opposed to each other: a token slit 2 for inserting tokens (m) between the respective brush boards 4 and 5; a cylindrical body 6 surrounding the outer circumferences of the respective brush boards 4 and 5 and the lower part of the lower side brush board 5; a token outlet 7 discharging the tokens (m) between the respective brush boards 4 and 5, in the cylindrical body 6; a motor 10 rotating the lower side brush board 5; and a water supply pump 13 supplying the wash water W to a part where the respective brush bristles 4b and 5a are opposed to each other. Four projecting streaks 5c with the height lower than the thickness of the token (m) are radially erected on a flat part 5b of the lower side brush board 5 and small-diameter drain outlets 5d are opened between the respective adjoining projecting streaks 5c toward the projecting streaks 5c in the opposite side to the rotating direction.
