Horseshoe, made of synthetic material and glued to hoof, comprising exchangeable calks

The horseshoe (1) is of the standard outer contour but has a shallow border. The main body and the exchangeable calks are made of a suitable plastic material. Before the horseshoe (1) is joined the hoof is prepared as usual and slightly sanded. After being molded and shaped the device (1) is glued to the hoof with a dual component glue, melting when heated and facilitating an easy removal of the shoe (1) if required. The front calk (3) is fixed with a wedge (5), the rear calks are screwed in (6).
