<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain technique for realizing energy saving further and the reliability of a user restricting function while maintaining high operability in an image forming apparatus restricting a user by a non-contact type medium. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus which extends and copes with the user restricting function of image forming operation and has a reader-writer 27 supplying power to the non-contact type medium is equipped with a system control panel 22 performing control to change the power supply to the reader-writer 27 in accordance with a state of transition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
