PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a more travelable time of a work machine when stopping an internal combustion engine, while allowing the work machine to temporarily travel only a short distance by operating only electric motors, in the work machine using the internal combustion engine together with the electric motors. SOLUTION: This work machine 10 has a work device 40 such as a snow removing work part, the internal combustion engine 34 for driving the work device, traveling devices 20L and 20R such as a crawler, the electric motors 33L and 33R for driving the traveling devices, a generator 54 driven by the internal combustion engine, and supplying electric power to a battery 55 and the electric motors, and a control part 56 for controlling the electric motors, in a machine body. The control part sets target acceleration and a target maximum speed of the traveling device when rotating the electric motors only by electric power supplied from the battery by stopping the internal combustion engine, to a value smaller than the target acceleration and the target maximum speed of the traveling device when rotating the electric motors by driving the internal combustion engine, and controls the rotation of the electric motor on the basis of the small value.
