PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a high precision thermosetting elastomer cylindrical body high in purity even when a thin product is produced. SOLUTION: A piston part 2 in which O-rings 3 and 3 are set in the peripheral part 2a and a wire 4 is set in the upper part 2b is inserted into a mold 1 to be arranged from the lower end 1b toward the upper end 1a of the mold 1. The bottom surface 2c of the piston part 2 is held at the lower end 1b of the mold 1. The lower end 1b is immersed in a container 6 filled with a urethane elastomer 5. The piston part 2 is pulled up to the upper end 1a side of the mold 1 by the wire 4, and the urethane elastomer 5 is packed in the mold 1. After the urethane elastomer 5 is heated and cured, the piston part 2, the mold 1, and the container 6 are removed from the cured urethane elastomer 5.
