PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an ALC panel which prevents the occurrence of a break and a crack and is excellent in appearance by reducing shadows formed above a reinforcement embedded in the ALC panel and blow holes exposed to the surface of the ALC panel. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the ALC panel, the reinforcement in which main reinforcements to be embedded in the longitudinal direction of the ALC panel and sub-reinforcements to be embedded in the width direction are connected in the shape of a lattice is arranged in a form, raw material slurry in which a solid component containing a siliceous raw material and a calcareous raw material as main raw materials is added with water and aluminum powder as a foaming agent is injected into the form, and a semi-cured body formed by foaming/curing the slurry is steam-cured at a high temperature and a high pressure. The vertically cut surface of the main reinforcement or the sub-reinforcement is approximately elliptic.
