PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sole which has optimum grip force on a lawn surface at the time of a golf swing, is capable of preventing the damage of a floor surface of a club house or the like and reducing the wear and damage of projections even at the time of walking on an asphalt surface or the like, is excellent in stability, durability and impact absorptivity, is usable for shoes for daily general use and has excellent convenience. SOLUTION: This sole is constituted by arranging thin and long columnar projections 1 and 2 which are easily stuck to the lawn surface and columnar projections 3 which are formed thicker and shorter than the columnar projections 1 and 2 and easily pressurize lawn on a back surface at appropriate intervals with each other. Then, the respective projections 1, 2 and 3 are arranged so as to be turned to various different directions at the outer edge part of the back surface of the shoe corresponding to the toe to foot arch of a left foot such that a wall-shaped nonskid surface constituted of the side faces of the respective projections 1, 2 and 3 corresponds to the time direction of about 2 to 8 o'clock of a counterclockwise force applied to the left foot at the time of a swing by a right-handed golf player.
