PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dazzlement prevention device with a simple constitution, capable of preventing dazzlement caused by a light reflected by a wet road surface. SOLUTION: The dazzlement prevention device 1 is constituted by sticking a sheet film-like first polarizing filter 3 and a sheet film-like second polarizing filter 4 to the whole of cabin side of a front windshield 2. Effective irradiation range of a head light of an automobile is a front side of 30-50 m of the automobile. The first polarizing filter 3 has directivity in the effective irradiation range of the head light of the own vehicle such that flat surface polarization 5 of a reflection light which a light of the head light of an oncoming vehicle is reflected on the wet road surface is shut off. Further, the second polarizing filter 4 has directivity so as to shut off a white polarization component 6 which a driver feels dazzling of a light incident to the dazzlement prevention device 1.
