PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a vending machine capable of switching a sales zone from heating to cooling with an easy operation. SOLUTION: The control device comprises a plurality of commodity housing chambers partitioned to a storage zone for storing commodities at ordinary temperature and a waiting zone for storing commodities with heating or cooling, a commodity moving mechanism for moving commodities in the storage zone to the waiting zone, a commodity carrying-out mechanism for carrying out commodities in the waiting zone based on a sales instruction, and a reservation switch for switching the waiting zone from heating to cooling. When the commodities in the waiting zone are commodities to be sold with heating at present, and the reservation switch are pressed for a predetermined time, reservation is started to stop the movement of commodities from the storage zone to the waiting zone by the commodity moving mechanism, and after it is determined that no commodities are present in the waiting zone, the waiting zone is switched from heating to cooling.
