PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively obtain a level gauge that ensures a specified pulling strength and can easily fix a gauge member to a handle. SOLUTION: A pair of ribs 50, 52 are projected into an insertion section 32. In the rib 50, an inclination surface 50A is provided, where the inclination surface 50A inclines toward a ceiling surface 32B from a lower surface 32A at the insertion section 32 toward the inner portion of the insertion section 32. In the rib 52, an inclination surface 50A is provided, where the inclination surface 50A inclines toward a lower surface 32A from the ceiling surface 32B of the insertion section 32 toward the inner portion of the insertion section 32. Additionally, a gap 56 into which a head 20B can be inserted is provided between the inclination surface 50A and the ceiling surface 32B, and between the inclination surface 50A and the lower surface 32A. At the inner portion of the ribs 50, 52 at the insertion section 32, a gap 58 in which the head 20B can be arranged is provided. The head of the gauge member is slid on the inclination surface, is moved to the inner portion of the insertion section while twisting the head, and can lock the gauge member to the handle via the head and the ribs while making the head free.
