PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion bearing which can prevent the out-flow of lubricating oil from both end faces of a porous body to the outside, and accordingly, can prevent the occurrence of the shortage of an oil supply amount to a rolling body at an early stage. SOLUTION: The linear motion bearing is constituted as follows. The tubular porous body 5 supplies the impregnated fluorine-containing oil (the lubricating oil) to a ball (the rolling body) 3 passing through the inside of a passage hole 4a2. A fluorine-containing coating (a sealing means) 7, which is composed of a fluorine-containing compound having excellent affinity with the oil, is formed to both ends of the porous body 5.
