PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive base isolation sill for a small-scale structure, easily fixable and relatively easy in the installation of an anchor bolt. SOLUTION: In this base isolation sill 1, a sill 5 and a square metal pipe body 6 is fixed in advance to the upper-lower surface of a base isolation member 4 with an adhesive 7. A bolt hole 6a is formed in the under surface of the metal pipe body 6 so that a head of the anchor bolt 3 embedded in a continuous footing 2 can be inserted, and anchor bolt fastening openings 8 are formed at proper intervals on a side surface. The openings 8 are arranged in zigzag shapes in both side surfaces of the pipe body 6 so that the anchor bolt 3 existing in an optional position in the pipe body 6 can be fastened. When fixing the base isolation sill 1 on the continuous footing 2, the sill is fastened by inserting a tool from the opening 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
