PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic bread maker having an improved convenience by permitting a time booking by a simple operation even in the case the time not within a timer booking time range is set. SOLUTION: When a cooking time for timer cooking is set by retrieving a time stored at a storage device by a time setting key, the judgment on whether the set time is a set-permissible time earlier than the time of the present time plus a specified time from a time later by the cooking time of the selected menu is made. When the set time is judged not to be a set-permissible time, another set-permissible time is displayed to start the cooking at the time, or other desired time is set by operating the time setting key on the basis of the displayed time to start the cooking at the time.
