PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of drying clothing by naturally circulating air in a washing and drying tub in a spin-drying process without providing a hot air means, being easily assembled by reducing the number of parts and provided with good designability, in a washing machine performing the spin-drying of clothing by the high-speed rotation of the washing and spin-drying tub. SOLUTION: The washing and spin-drying tub 1 is rotatably arranged in an outer tub 3, the outer tub 3 is supported in a washing machine body 6 in a vibration isolation state, an upper frame 16 is provided in the upper portion of the washing machine body 6 and a lid 18 is openably arranged in the upper frame 16.
