PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent intruded water from being in contact with a charging component even in such simple structure that a lid cover is attached to the surface of the upper lid member of a rice cooker by engaging and fixing engaging pawls disposed at the outer peripheral edge of the lid cover to the engaging hole of the upper lid member. SOLUTION: A fitting part 12 fitted to the lid upper member 7 is provided on the outside of the peripheral wall 11 of a recessed part 9 on the lower surface of a lid ring 6, and the lid cover 8 is formed in a size having the outer peripheral edge along the peripheral wall 11. A number of engaging pawls 42 provided at required intervals on the outer peripheral edge of the lid cover 8 are engaged and fixed to the engaging hole 37 provided on the upper lid member 7, and a drain channel 50 for water which sometimes flows in from the engaging hole 37 is formed of the peripheral wall 11, the fitting part 12 on the outside and the lid upper member 7 fitted thereto.
