ENTRANCE/EXIT DOOR SYSTEM OF ELEVATOR

An entrance/exit door system of a multispeed elevator wherein a plurality of door panels are supported movably to the left/right direction while being shifted back and forth, the door panels are arranged laterally stepwise to close the entrance/exit of the elevator when the door is closed and moved in the same direction toward the door pocket side at difference speeds to open the entrance/exit when the door is opened. A closing member having a sealing material is provided at the side part of one door panel having a high moving speed and allowed to touch the side part of the other door panel only when the door is closed thus closing the gap between the side parts. Good airtightness is sustained between the side parts of the door panel when the door is closed without sacrifice in the moving performance of the door panel, thus enhancing noise insulation and smoke insulation.
