STEP-UP/STEP-DOWN DC-DC CONVERTER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step-up/step-down DC-DC converter which is free from malfunction that two operation modes are repeated by an output voltage change when a step-up mode and a step-down mode are switched.

SOLUTION: The DC-DC converter has hysteresis characteristics under switching condition at the switching time of a step-up mode and an input/output conduction mode or a switching time of a step-up mode and the input/output conduction mode. The DC-DC converter switches the operation modes in response to the difference of the input DC voltage and the target output voltage or the error voltage of an output voltage and the target output voltage, and avoids a range in which the error voltage crosses near the top of a triangular wave voltage.
