<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system in which deterioration of activity of a combustion catalyst of an anode off-gas combustor is prevented, and in which hydrogen contained in the anode off-gas is burned sufficiently. <P>SOLUTION: In the combustor 10 for the anode off-gas, a heat exchanger 37 in the combustor is installed as a heating means to raise the temperature of the combustion catalyst 12. To the heat exchanger 37 in the combustor, an air for cathode supply which has become high temperature by means of compression by a compressor 2 is supplied, while the air passed through the heat exchanger in the combustor is supplied to an after-cooler 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
