PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe skin care preparation for bleaching use having high tyrosinase activity inhibitory effect, melanogenesis inhibitory effect and bleaching effect.

SOLUTION: This skin care preparation for bleaching use contains as the active ingredient a solvent extract of a Garcinia plant belonging to the Guttiferae family, or a biflavonoid of formula(1) or (2).
