<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a fuel tank by making cooling air flow around the fuel tank of an engine generator. <P>SOLUTION: This engine generator includes an engine 23, a generator 33 arranged in one side thereof and a muffler 40 arranged in another side thereof, and is constructed to house the same inside of a sound insulation case 10. The fuel tank 42 includes a main tank part 42a and an inlet part 42b extending along upper part of the engine 23. A main cooling air inlet 45 is formed on a front surface panel 14 of the sound insulation case 10, a cooling air outlet 47 is formed on a back surface panel 15, main cooling air flow cooling the engine 23 is created by a cooling fan 31. A secondary cooling air inlet 49 is formed on a side surface of the sound insulation case 10 and secondary cooling air flow reaching the cooling fan 31 after flowing around the fuel tank 42 and a cylinder head 24 from the secondary cooling air inlet 49 is created inside of the sound insulation case 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
