PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair for shower sufficiently wash the body of a person to be cared from the back face to the toe tips according to the body state of the person to be cared sitting in the wheelchair. SOLUTION: This wheelchair 100 is provided with a vertically sliding backrest part 11 inserted into a backrest frame 12, vertically turnable armrests 13 pivoted thereto 12, a seat part 14 having an approximately U-shaped opening hole part in the central part of the seat part, and a vertically turnable footrest 17 in the front part.
