PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle sensor equipped with a housing of highly accurate structure, equipped with a terminal of construction not causing deformation or loosening, and equipped with a connection construction to a signal line not affected by thermal stress. SOLUTION: The housing 10 is divided in units of one resolver, resolver function units are constructed by incorporating one resolver into each of division housings 10a and 10b thus divided, the division housings 10a and 10b comprising the function units are plurally together joined with their axial opening surfaces put together, thereby constructing the housing 10. Leads of a stator winding are connected to the wiring of a printed wiring board 51 serving as a relay substrate, pins 54 for signal line connection are stood on the wiring board 51, and the wiring board 51 is attached to an insulator. Flexible leads of a coil are connected to a printed wiring board 62 serving as a substrate for connection directly or from a relay substrate 51 to which the leads are connected via a flexible electric wire, a magnet wire, and a flexible printed wiring board 61.
