PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote operating device of a generator for a bicycle that simplifies the constitution and can improve operability. SOLUTION: The remote operating device has a wire 7 for pulling a driven wheel 10 of the generator 3 in the separating direction from a tire 30 or a rim against an energizing force of an energizing means 12 by operation of an operation portion 6. The operation portion 6 has a turning body 24 for turning turnably in a case 23 about a fulcrum 31 and an inner wire attaching section 38 that is disposed in the turning body 24 and mounted with one end of an inner wire 19 via an inserting port 50. The turning body 24 is constituted so that one end of the inner wire 19 turns across two regions partitioned by a virtual line for connecting the inserting port 50 of the inner wire 19 to the turning center of the turning body 24. At a position at which the driven wheel 10 abuts on the tire 39 or the rim in one region and a position at which the driven wheel 10 separates from the tire 39 or the rim in the other region, turning of the turning body 24 in the inserting port 50 direction is regulated.
