PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation device enabling precise adjustment of electrical power consumption for a light source panel unit so as to easily obtain desired concentration of photon at a plant cultivation stage. SOLUTION: The plant cultivation device is provided with a plant cultivation stage 1 having an almost oblong shape, and a light source panel unit 9 having a plurality of fluorescent lamps 9a arranged so as to face the plant cultivation stage 1 and illuminating the plant cultivation stage. The plurality of fluorescent lamps 9a at the light source panel unit 9 are arranged and installed so as to cross the longer side of the almost oblong-shaped plant cultivation stage 1 at nearly right angles.
