The multilayer heat-insulating wall or roof (1) for a tent has external (7) and internal (2) flexible panels. They are stretched between undercut grooves (5a-d) at the corners of adjacent rectangular frame members (6a,b). The panels have enlarged edges (4a,b) and (8a,b) which fit into the undercut grooves in the edges of the frame members. A layer of insulating material (3) fits between the flexible panels. Its thickness is equal to the distances between the inner and outer grooves in the frame members.
