<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since a fuel cell generates heat at power generation, it is cooled so as to maintain a fixed temperature, however, the fuel cell cannot be necessarily operated for power generation with the maximum generating efficiency at that fixed temperature. <P>SOLUTION: This is a power generation control method of a fuel cell S in which a fuel cell 1 that is supplied with a hydrogen-containing gas containing hydrogen and an oxygen-containing gas containing oxygen is operated to generate intermittently at a constant generating power or at a constant generating current. When the fuel cell 1 is operated for power generation, control factors which participate in generating efficiency are changed within a prescribed range, and during changing of the control factors, a value in which the generating efficiency becomes maximum is detected, and the fuel cell 1 is operated so that the control factors become the detected value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
