<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for generating a driving waveform table, by which a printing device in each surrounding temperature is made constant in the ejection ink weight characteristics, in correspondence between the surrounding temperature of a driving waveform table stored in advance and a driving waveform. <P>SOLUTION: The driving waveform table TBL1 having a pulse rate of change specifying the ejected ink weight corresponded to temperature environment is preliminarily stored in a timing storage circuit 192, and the pulse rate of change to be used corresponding to a measured temperature data is specified from the driving waveform table TBL1, realizing the color development characteristics suitable for the temperature environment. In generating the driving waveform table TBL1, a reference patch PA and evaluation patches PB1 to PB30 are formed, and the pulse rate of change in the evaluation patches PB1 to PB30 having a minimum color difference ΔE is set to the driving waveform table 1, thereby generating the driving waveform table TBL1 capable of realizing the color reproduction improved in the color developing characteristics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
