PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonphosphate and nonhalogen insulated wire having high flame resistance and excellent mechanical strength.

SOLUTION: An inner insulating layer 3 and an outer insulating layer 4 are formed in the circumference of a conductor 2; and the thickness (s) [mm] of the insulating layer 4 with respect to the total coating thickness (t)[mm] of the insulating layers is made to satisfy a relationship of 0.02≤s≤2t/3. The inner insulating layer is formed of silane cross-linked polyolefin or by blending polyolefin with maleic anhydride copolymerized with it, the outer insulating layer is formed of at least one kind out of a polyphenylene sulfide resin and a polyether sulfone resin.
