<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which productivity can be improved by reducing the downtime of the machine. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming mechanism part 100 comprises: a rotary or fixed type color development part 104; an image writing part 103 which forms an electrostatic latent image onto a photoreceptor 101 with a laser beam; an electrifying charger 102 which electrifies the surface of the photoreceptor 101 so that it has uniform voltage; a drum cleaning part 105 which removes toner remaining on the photoreceptor 101; an intermediate transfer belt 110 which primarily transfers a toner image formed on the photoreceptor 101; reference marks 112 formed on the image non-formation area of the surface of the intermediate transfer belt 110; a sensor 113 which reads the reference marks 112; a cleaning part 114 which removes toner remaining on the surface of the intermediate transfer belt 110; and a secondary transfer roller 120 which secondarily transfers the uniformly toner image, transferred to the intermediate transfer belt 110, to transfer paper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
