<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an independent server system for ordering and receiving orders, which solves problems of a large amount of initial capital investment and a system security as well as the problem of whether an vendor can use the independent server system. <P>SOLUTION: The independent server system for ordering and receiving orders in a hotel comprises a means for storing a order data transmitted via the Internet into a database within an information system, which is independent from the server system for ordering orders, after the order data is arranged in a standard format. Consequently, the security of the independent server for ordering orders is increased due to the fact that the ordering information system is indirectly connected to an external system. Based on a vendor request, the database within the information system can generate contents of ordering information for a WEB as well as enables the vendor to browse the contents and download them by itself into a personal computer. The vendors can embody their information systems without investing a large amount of money as an initial investment if they provide themselves the personal computer coupled to the Internet and prepare a browser since they can indirectly receive the data recorded on magnetic media from the order source to send orders. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
